WHEN AND WHERE
27th to 28th November 2026, mainly online as a Twitch stream, with a smaller scale get-together at the HSDK clubhouse in Helsinki, Finland.
Entrance to the HSDK clubhouse is free and open to everyone. BYOB. You will need to call a phone number, which is printed by the entrance. There's a little bit of space for computin', if you want to bring something.
The clubhouse is easily reachable by car and public transport (e.g. the A train stops right next to it).
COMPOS
Submitting entries and voting
Partyboi will be opened for entries sometime before the party. The deadline for all entries is Friday 27th November 2026, when the party starts. Everyone registered to Partyboi with a valid email address will receive a votekey. A votekey is not required for submitting entries.
Combined demo / intro
- Size limit: 16 megabytes
256 byte intro
- 256 byte executable
Tracked music
- All entries will be played using a Gravis Ultrasound with 1 MB. The size limit for songs follows that.
- All entries will be played in Impulse Tracker 2.14. Plan accordingly.
Graphics
- All entries will be displayed using TBD.
Compo notes
The main compo machine is a Pentium II class PC, running MS-DOS 6.22, with at least 32 MB of RAM, a Sound Blaster 16, a Gravis Ultrasound 1 MB, and an AGP graphics card.
If your production requires it, we can also provide a 486, 386, or XT class machine.
Changing screen modes during the runtime of your production is done at your own risk, and will probably result in a black screen for a couple seconds.
If you want to, we can test your production before the deadline, which can be useful it's quirky in any way.
A compo will be held if there are at least two entries. If a compo is skipped, its entries will not be published online.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be respectful toward all party visitors. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and other similar behavior will not be tolerated. You will be told to knock it off, and continued bad behavior will get you ejected from the party. Additionally, disruptive behavior due to extreme inebriation will also not be tolerated. If your only purpose in coming to the party is getting shitfaced and being annoying to everyone, stay home. In short, don't be a shithead, regarding anything.
All this is in addition to Finnish laws, which must also be followed.
